Financial Accounts: How do I verify an ACH Payment account with micro deposits?

If you have added a depository account on Happy Mango without using online banking logins by typing in the routing number and account number, you will need to verify this account with micro deposits before this account can be used as a payment source for automatic ACH. 

The process of verifying a bank account with micro deposits takes 1-3 business days. 

Immediately after you have added your account, you will receive an email notification that "Micro Deposits Have Been Initiated".  This email is triggered when two deposits between $0.01 and $0.99 are being sent to your newly added bank account. These deposits take up to 3 business days to settle into your bank account and get posted to your online banking statement by your bank.  During this time, there is nothing you need to do. 

When those deposits have settled in your bank account, you will receive another email notification that the"Micro Deposits Have Cleared".  Upon receiving this email notification, you should take the following steps to verify this account:

1. Find the two deposit amounts from your online banking statement;
   Please note that some banks (e.g. Wells Fargo) may post these amounts with a delay of up to 24 hours. 
2. Log into your Happy Mango account and  select "Accounts" on the top right drop down menu;
3. Select the "ACH Payment Sources" tab;
4. Find the account to be verified and click "Verify" to open up a pop-up window ;
5. Enter the micro deposit amounts in the order they were received in the pop-up window.

Once the account is verified, the "Verify" link will disappear. And your account is ready for automatic ACH payments.
