You should contact our support team immediately upon seeing the "Account Error" flag on your Dashboard and Loans page or receiving an email with the following heading "Account Suspended/Deactivated for Payment Functions on Happy Mango." The email and the appearance of the "Account Error" alert happen automatically and concurrently when our system receives a notice from our ACH payment processor that they have deactivated or suspended your payment account.
When your ACH payment account is suspended or deactivated, no ACH payment can be processed from your Happy Mango account and you will not be able to add or remove any funding source for ACH payments on Happy Mango. "Account Error" is a serious problem. Without taking timely remedial action, this can lead to potential default, resulting in derogatory records on your credit report.
Why has my ACH payment account been suspended or deactivated?
Happy Mango uses a third party for processing ACH payments. The third party payment processor has implemented certain rules that automatically suspends or deactivates a account when suspicious activities have occurred to protect their system from getting attacked by malicious users. A common trigger for an account to get suspended or deactivated is when an ACH transfer has resulted in one of the following fatal errors: R02 (Account Closed), R04 (Invalid Account), R16 (Account Frozen/Entry Returned per OFAC Instruction).
How do I restore my ACH payment account?
To restore your ACH payment, Happy Mango will need to submit a request to the ACH payment processor with an explanation on what has caused the failed ACH transfer and why such failure will not happen again. When you contact our support team, please be prepared to provide this information. After we have submitted the request to our ACH provider, it usually takes 1-3 business days to restore your account.
You will be able to add new funding sources and the automatic ACH processing for your payments will resume as soon as your account is restored and the "Account Error" flag disappears.
