You should take immediate action upon seeing the "Attention Required" flag on the Loans page to avoid a default and having potentially derogatory records added to your credit report. "Attention Required" will appear on your Loans dashboard when one or more the following issues has occurred:
- The funding source linked for paying off the loan has been deactivated or removed; or
-
An initiated ACH payment has failed due to one of the following errors: R02, R03, R04, R05, R07, R10, R11, R13, R15, R17, R29, R38, R51 ; or
-
Two consecutively initiated ACH payments have both failed due to R01 error; or
-
Two consecutive ACH payments did not initiate due to insufficient balance returned by Plaid
The occurrence of any of such events puts this loan at high risk of defaulting. When this "Attention Required" notice appears, it indicates that automatic ACH has been temporarily turned off until remediating measures have been taken to reduce the loan's future default risk.
How to turn off the "Attention" flag?
By taking one of the following actions, you can improve the loan's risk status and have the "Attention" flag automatically turned off:
- Add a new funding source if the current funding source is no longer activated
- Make an ACH payment on Happy Mango, and it has been processed successfully
- Reach out to your lender and make an offline payment on your loan
- Click on the red SoS button to request a loan payment schedule modification
- Reach out to your lender and request your loan to be charged off
The automatic ACH processing for this loan will be turned on when the "Attention" flag disappears.
